I have many fascinations. With art, with art history, with the history of other spheres; nature

and folklore and the workings of the mind and heart of mankind. Art offers one sphere in

which to explore them; in landscape and portraiture, the revisiting of famous and less famous works,

and the depiction of many other things out of the past and present.

Another method is writing poetry. Poetry, that is, as a form of storytelling, full of kings and

queens, shepherds and sailors, hobgoblins and fairies. And the occasional murder.
